PostSubject: Motorola Phone Connectivity Problems in ET-BoX   Thu May 28, 2009 6:23 am

I have come accross many posts in forum that people are having problems
in Motorola Phone connectivity in newier versions of ET-BoX.

Since everything is working fine at my end, there is nothing left to
check in the software regarding this. Still, Please try these following
steps and check again if the problem continues or is solved.

  1. Download latest drivers from support area and extract them. => "ET-BoX Drivers (13-03-08).rar"
  2. Connect ET-BoX, Open Device Manager and then Uninstall the Comm
Port drivers for your ET-BoX. Make sure you need to uninstall them at 2
places in device manager. 1 is in "Ports (com & LPT)", 2nd is in
    "Universal Serial Bus controllers".
  3. Re-Connect the ET-BoX and specify drivers manually to the Latest
Drivers. (your system should ask for drivers 2 times, otherwise update
    drivers manually)
  4. Open properties for "USB Serial Port", Goto "Port Settings" and
press "Advance", Change Latency timer from 16ms. to 4ms., Press OK and
    close the Device Manager
  5. Open ET-BoX Latest EXE. Uncheck the "Enumerate PORTS" in Ports & Settings Column.
  6. Select your comm port and then try to connect the handset.

If any problem then please feel free to post your feedbacks in this thread.
